Bandara Antar Planet Segera Dibangun
Bandar angkasa atau Spaceport pertama, sebentar lagi akan terwujud. Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) AS telah memberikan izin pembangunan Spaceport America sebagai tempat peluncuran horizontal dan vertikal pesawat ruang angkasa. Perjalanan ke luar angkasa sebenarnya masih di luar kewenangan FAA. Fasilitas Spaceport America sendiri akan dibangun di New Mexico.Tahap pertama pembangunan fasilitas ini akan selesai pada 2010. Bandar angkasa ini akan mendukung pesawat ruang angkasa SpaceShip Two.

Virgin Galactic akan mengantarkan penumpang kaya raya yang bersedia membayar US$ 100 juta. Jumlah uang sebanyak itu hanya untuk perjalanan selama empat menit.Teknologi sudah mencapai tahapan tertinggi sehingga perjalanan luar angkasa tidak perlu infrastruktur besar-besaran.
Hanya perlu niat kuat, pembiayaan dan perusahaan swasta besar. Selain sekedar mengantarkan pebisnis yang ingin menghamburkan uang, bandar angkasa itu juga bisa untuk mengatarkan ilmuwan dari seluruh dunia bagi yang ingin melakukan penelitian.Setelah kehadiran bandara angkasa, perjalanan ke bulan mungkin saja akan segera diwujudkan dalam waktu singkat
